A 19-year-old man was arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a man near Echo Park Lake, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred about 11:40 p.m. Friday in the 700 block of Echo Park Avenue, near the Echo Park boathouse, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The victim, whose name has not been released, died at a hospital, police said.
