A stabbing occurred Tuesday evening at an Albertsons grocery store in Carson.
The stabbing was reported about 6:45 p.m. at the store in the 100 block of East Carson Street, according to Sgt. Dwayne Javier of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Carson Station.
ABC7 reported that the stabbing occurred during a confrontation between a security guard and a shoplifting suspect and resulted in the suspect’s death, but Javier could not confirm the report.
