The coroner Saturday publicly identified a woman shot to death in Compton.
Kaylin Patricia Irvin, 24, was a Bellflower resident, according to coroner’s Investigator T. Godoy.
The shooting happened about 3:35 p.m. Friday in the 500 block of South Bullis Road, near East Myrrh Street, according to Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Irvin was pronounced dead at the scene, Ortiz said.
The circumstances of the shooting were not disclosed, and no suspect description was released.
