An “Endangered Missing Advisory” issued in California to help find a 12-year-old boy who was last seen in Burbank after he was believed to be taken by his mother in Colorado was called off Monday evening as the boy and his mother were located.

Liam and his 31-year-old mother, Nikki Sweezey, had last been seen in the 3300 block of North Glenoaks Boulevard, near the Golden State (5) Freeway’s Cohasset Street underpass, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities believe Sweezey took Liam on Friday, prompting an Amber Alert to be issued in Colorado on Saturday, according to local reports.

The exact location he was taken from was not released, but the California Highway Patrol issued an alert on behalf of the Aurora Police Department for San Bernardino, Riverside, San Diego and Imperial counties on Monday afternoon, then to Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno, Madera, Merced, Stanislaus, San Joaquin, Sacramento, Yolo, Colusa, Glenn, Sutter, and Butte counties on Monday evening.

About 11:15 p.m., the CHP announced both Liam and Nikki had been located, but did not disclose exactly when and where they were found.
