A suspect in a high-speed pursuit that started in Glendale crashed through a Warner Bros. lot gate in Burbank Tuesday afternoon.

Glendale police officers were responding to a call of a car blocking traffic near Grandview Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard about 2:30 p.m., according to Glendale Police Department Sgt. Christian Hauptmann.

The driver of the car allegedly “starting flipping officers off,” and officers attempted to pull him over, but he drove off and a pursuit began, Hauptmann said.

The suspect got onto the Ventura (134) Freeway and drove over 100 mph, forcing officers to call off the dangerous pursuit soon after it started, according to Hauptmann.

The car chase ended when the driver crashed his car into Gate 7, near Olive Avenue, at Warner Bros., The Hollywood Reporter said.

The suspect ran away from the car, and police set up a perimeter to search for him, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It was not immediately clear if the suspect was caught, and the Burbank Police Department could not be immediately reached for more information.
