A man died from wounds he sustained in a shooting in the unincorporated Willowbrook area of Los Angeles and the shooter was on the loose Tuesday morning.
Deputies responded to the 300 block of East Piru Street, near San Pedro Street, about 11:40 p.m. Monday, where they found the victim, who was taken to a hospital where he died, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
A description of the suspect and a motive for the shooting were not immediately available, Koerner said.
The name of the victim was not disclosed.
