One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning that prompted the closure of an intersection in Torrance until further notice.
Torrance police officers responded to the intersection of 190th Street and Crenshaw Boulevard about 12:30 a.m.
Video from the scene showed a badly damaged vehicle in the intersection with debris around it.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
The intersection is closed in both directions until further notice and drivers are asked to avoid the area.
