Police Saturday said a man was struck and killed by a white Jeep Cherokee driven by a hit-and-run motorist in Santa Ana.
Police received several calls at about 9:25 p.m. Friday of a man down in the roadway at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and McFadden Avenue. Paramedics dispatched to the location pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The man was standing on the center median of McFadden Avenue near Harbor Boulevard when he was struck by the vehicle that was going westbound, the Santa Ana Police Department reported.
The department’s Collision Investigation Unit urged anyone with information regarding the crash to call them at 714-245-8216.
