The driver of a speeding vehicle was killed in a fiery crash in Lynwood, authorities said Monday.
It was reported about 10:50 p.m. Sunday at Atlantic Avenue and Los Flores Boulevard, according to Deputy Wally Bracks of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed when it crashed into parked cars and a pole, and burst into flames, Bracks said.
The driver was the only person inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, she said.
Investigators suspect the crash was DUI-related, Bracks said.
