A man in his mid-40s was shot to death in Laguna Beach Tuesday.
Police were called at 5:19 a.m. to the Laguna Lido condominiums at 31755 Coast Highway after a resident reported hearing glass breaking and shots fired.
Officers found a shattered window in a second floor unit and found the victim on the floor. He died before paramedics could get to the scene.
Police withheld the man’s name pending notification of his family, but described him as being in his mid-40s and a part-time resident of Laguna Beach.
There were no reports of arrests, and no suspect descriptions were released.
It is the first homicide in Laguna Beach since last August.
