A person was killed Sunday morning during a single-vehicle crash on the Redlands (10) Freeway in Banning, authorities said.
The crash occurred at about 7:35 a.m. Sunday on the eastbound freeway, east of Sunset Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A vehicle went off the roadway, down the right shoulder and landed at the bottom of a freeway on-ramp, the CHP reported.
A representative from the Riverside County coroner’s office was called to the scene at 8:02 a.m.
No further information was immediately available.
We’re praying for whoever this was and for their family very very sad it’s very easy to also drive off of that freeway and land onto an ongoing on ramp.
