A 25-year-old autistic and mute man was found Wednesday afternoon, about nine hours after going missing in Long Beach.
Davontay Marquise Clark, who is also mentally impaired, was reported missing after being last seen about 8 a.m. in the 600 block of West Third Street, near Golden Park, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
Officers found Clark about 5 p.m., unharmed near the intersection of Wardlow Road and Atlantic Avenue, about six miles from where he went missing, according to police.
Clark was reunited with his mother.
