A man shot at a group of construction workers and fled the scene in Culver City Wednesday afternoon, but no one was struck by the gunfire.
The suspect, who is likely between 35 and 40 years old, confronted the group while they were working at around noon and got into an argument with them before leaving, according to the Culver City Police Department.
He came back to the area, in the 6500 block of Green Valley Circle, with a semi-automatic handgun and fired about four rounds at the group at about 12:15 p.m., police said.
He got into a older-model Ford Explorer and drove away westbound on Centinela Avenue, police said.
Authorities urged anyone with information about the suspect to contact the Culver City Police Department’s detective bureau at 310-253-6300.
