Authorities Friday are seeking the public’s help to find two hit-and-run drivers who struck a 65-year-old man in Eagle Rock.
The victim was struck while crossing an unmarked crosswalk on York Boulevard at Munson Avenue, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A motorcyclist was traveling westbound on York Boulevard and hit the victim, then fled without stopping to render aid, said police, who did not have a full description of the motorcyclist other than both the motorcycle and the rider’s helmet were green.
Witnesses came to render aid to the victim, and while he was lying in the street waiting for paramedics to arrive, a vehicle struck him and drove away without stopping, according to police. No description is available of the driver or vehicle.
The victim was taken to a hospital and his vital signs are reported to be stable, police said.
