Riverside police Sunday asked the public for help finding a 53-year-old woman who failed to return from a hike on Mount Rubidoux in the downtown area of Riverside.
Esther Hollister went for a hike Saturday and was last seen about 3:30 p.m. in the area of the Evergreen Cemetery, police said. Her car was still parked where she left it to hike.
Hollister is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 2 inches tall, 130 pounds, with brown hair and eyes, last seen wearing a black tank top, blue shorts, black-and-white Converse shoes and was carrying a black backpack.
Officers, friends and family have been searching the area for her, police said.
