Rewards of $50,000 each were in effect Wednesday for information that helps police solve three killings in Pacoima earlier this year.
The latest crime occurred on the night of May 9 in the 13200 block of Cornelius Street.
Davon Pledger, 26, was standing outside a friend’s residence at about 10:40 p.m. when three men in a dark-colored sedan shot him multiple times, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No description was released of the suspects.
“Detectives are continuing to investigate, but have not identified any leads,” an LAPD statement said.
On Feb. 22 at about 12:30 a.m., Omar Medina, 27, was at a party near Montague Street and Telfair Avenue when he was confronted by a group of men who assaulted him. Three of the men produced handguns and fatally shot him.
On Feb. 15 at about 8 p.m., officers sent to the 12800 block of Van Nuys Boulevard on a shots-fired call found 18-year-old Michael Kelly shot to death.
