Two brothers and a woman under investigation for possible involvement in an attack at a Banning cemetery that left several people injured are wanted for questioning, authorities said Tuesday.
Christopher Armendariz, William Armdendariz and Erica Lomas — all of the Banning Pass — were named persons of interest in connection with the shooting about 5 p.m. Sunday at Summit Cemetery, 2201 San Gorgonio Ave., according to the Banning Police Department.
Investigators said at least two people were struck by gunfire, though none of the wounds were life-threatening.
“Witnesses reported seeing the suspects flee the area in a white vehicle,” according to a Banning Police Department statement.
A possible motive for the attack was not disclosed, and authorities did not indicate why the trio were named persons of interest.
Anyone with information was asked to contact the detective bureau at 951-922-3170.
