Deputies found the body of a severely burned man Monday in a rear alley in the Athens Village community of unincorporated Los Angeles County.
Deputies responding at approximately 5:34 a.m. to a fire call in an alley in the 12400 block of Broadway found the body in an alley, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Sheriff’s homicide detectives urged anyone with information regarding the death to call them at 323-890-5500.
