Authorities hoped a photo they’ve circulated to the public of a 66-year-old woman with Alzheimer’s disease who went missing in Rosemead will help them find her.

Dang Lan was last seen about 2 p.m. Thursday in the 3200 block of Angelus Avenue, near Dorothy Street, according to Deputy Eric Ortiz.

Lan, who is blind in her left eye, speaks Vietnamese and Cantonese, Ortiz said.

She is Asian. She stands 5 feet, 5 inches tall and weighs about 117 pounds. She has brown eyes and black shoulder-length hair, Ortiz said. She was last seen wearing a green long-sleeve shirt, black pants and black shoes.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff’s Missing Persons Unit at 323-890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can also call Crime Stoppers at 800-222-TIPS.
