
One person was killed Thursday evening in a fiery crash on the westbound Pomona (60) Freeway in Riverside.
A vehicle went over the right side of the freeway near the Rubidoux Boulevard exit and caught fire about 10 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol.
A victim was pronounced dead at the scene about 10:15 p.m., the CHP said.
Details of what led up to the crash were not immediately available.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
The Nos. 2 and 3 lanes of the freeway were blocked until further notice.
