A man found shot to death inside a vehicle in Montecito Heights may have been homeless, authorities said Saturday.
No city of residence was available for Jerry Cambero, 37, said coroner’s Lt. David Smith.
Officers responded to Avenue 60 and the Pasadena (110) Freeway about 10 p.m. Thursday and found the victim suffering from at least one gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
A description of the shooter and motive for the shooting were not available.
