Two bikers who died in near-simultaneous, but separate motorcycle crashes on a Tustin roadway Sunday were identified by the Orange County coroner’s office.
The two men were headed northward on Jamboree Road, just north of Barranca Parkway near Irvine when they lost control, Tustin Police Lt. Stephanie Nichols said.
Police were dispatched to the location around 3:13 a.m., Nichols said.

The first motorcyclist, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was identified as 33-year-old Quintin Lilienthal of Hemet, the coroner’s office reported.
The second man, 29-year-old, Daniel Lilienthal also of Hemet, was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died of his injuries. There was no immediate word on their exact relationship.
It was not immediately known if alcohol or drugs were involved in the accident. No other vehicles were involved. The causes of the crashes were still under investigation.
