Seal Beach police Monday released security video and still photos in hopes of identifying two of three commercial burglary suspects accused of stealing cellular phones and other electronics valued at about $4,000 from a T-Mobile store.
The crime occurred Oct. 20 about 5:15 p.m. at the store at 13979 Seal Beach Blvd. Three suspects entered the store, forcefully removed electronics which were secured via cables to the display shelves, and left moments later, according to Seal Beach police Sgt. Nick Nicholas.
A responding officer spotted a vehicle driving away from the location and stopped the car. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, later identified later as Ali Dawson, 18, of Los Angeles, was arrested and booked at the Orange County Jail on suspicion of felony commercial burglary, Nicholas said.
“Further investigation revealed that Ali Dawson is also a named suspect in multiple other crimes of a similar nature committed around Southern California,” according to a police statement.
The other two unidentified suspects are believed to have fled the location in another vehicle, Nicholas said.
Anyone with any information about their identities or whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Jorge Muniz at jmuniz@sealbeachca.gov or 562-799-4100, ext. 1108.
