A Metrolink train fatally struck a person Sunday in Santa Ana.
The accident happened about 2:50 p.m. between the Orange and Santa Ana stations, Metrolink spokeswoman Sherita Cosselt said.
The train was number 664, she said. The crash temporarily shut down the tracks between those two stations.
The death was being investigated by Santa Ana police. There were no further details immediately available.
