The coroner’s office Monday released the name of a Pomona resident shot to death in that city.
Renee Lopez was 33, the coroner’s office said.
The shooting occurred at 7 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of East Phillips Boulevard, authorities said.
Pomona police said they arrived to find the Pomona resident suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A videographer at the scene said police taped off an apartment building to gather evidence inside.
Major Crimes Unit investigators have not yet identified a motive for the shooting.
