A 16-year-old boy was killed Wednesday morning when a Tesla went over the side of Malibu Canyon Road.
The crash was reported at about 7:40 a.m. Wednesday just north of Potter Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The victim was later identified by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Hunter Langley.
Langley was a student at Sierra Canyon School in Chatsworth. His death prompted the school to cancel all athletic events Wednesday, including the final of the Mission League boys’ basketball tournament against Notre Dame.
