Authorities asked for the public’s help Tuesday in identifying the suspect or suspects responsible for the fatal shooting of a man who was found in an alley in Canoga Park.
The death was reported about 9:15 p.m. Sunday at Saticoy Street and Independence Avenue, said Officer D. Orris of the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Francisco Cebrero, 58, of Canoga Park, died at scene, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
A passerby contacted police after finding the man down in an alley, Orris said.
