A 79-year-old man who suffers from an unspecified medical condition has been found, after going missing in the Baldwin Hills area over the weekend, authorities announced Monday.
George Bailey was reported missing late Saturday afternoon, from the vicinity of Muirfield Road South and Coliseum Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
A Silver Alert was issued by the California Highway Patrol on Sunday, then deactivated Monday afternoon. No other details were released.
The Silver Alert program was established to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearance of elderly, developmentally disabled and cognitively impaired individuals, according to the CHP.
