One motorist died and another two were injured Monday afternoon when two vehicles collided in San Jacinto, authorities said.
The crash was reported about 2:30 p.m. in the 1100 block of Warren Road, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters freed at least one motorist from the wreckage.
Two people suffered injuries described as minor, although it was not immediately clear if they required hospitalization, and one victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the collision was under investigation.
