A man shot to death in Compton was a resident of that city, authorities said Wednesday.
Jason Martinez was 33-years-old, according to the coroner’s office.
The shooting is believed to be gang-related, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The shooting was reported at 11:36 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of East Bliss Street, according to Deputy Trina Schrader.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, Schrader said.
