Sheriff’s detectives continued their search Saturday for a 25-year-old woman suffering from depression who went missing in Compton.
Shontel Aunyet Harris was last seen walking near 124th and Alameda streets at about 5 p.m. on Sept. 13, according to Deputy Grace Medrano of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Harris is Black, stands 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds, Medrano said. She has short curly black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater over a colorful shirt, a black skirt, and carrying a black backpack and another gray/black backpack.
