A man was fatally shot Monday in Lynwood.
Homicide detectives were sent to the 12700 block of Atlantic Avenue at about 11:20 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, whose name was not immediately released, was found unresponsive with a gunshot wound in his torso, the department reported. He died at the scene.
The male suspect was last seen driving a dark sedan south on Atlantic Avenue and westbound on Rosecrans Avenue, the sheriff’s department reported.
