A hit-and-run driver was being sought Thursday for leaving the scene of a collision that killed a bicyclist in the south Los Angeles area.
Paramedics sent to Main Street just north of 120th Street about 9:15 p.m. Wednesday took the bicyclist to a hospital, where he died of his injuries, the Los Angeles Police Department reported. His name was not immediately released.
The vehicle was described only as a dark-colored sedan.
A standing reward of up to $50,000 is offered by the city of Los Angeles for information that helps solve fatal hit-and-run cases.
