A man was shot to death Saturday evening in the unincorporated Willowbrook area of Compton.
It was reported at 7:24 p.m. in the 123000 block of Wilmington Avenue, said Deputy Grace Medrano of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Medrano said.
Homicide detectives were on the scene looking for witnesses and evidence, she said.
