A motorcyclist was critically injured Sunday evening in a collision with a car in El Segundo.
It happened just before 6 p.m. on Pacific Coast Highway around El Segundo Boulevard, said El Segundo police Lt. Hugo Perez.
The 32-year-old motorcyclist was northbound on PCH when a car pulled out of a shopping center and struck the motorcycle, Perez said.
That driver remained at the scene, he said.
PCH was shut down in both directions between El Segundo Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue for the crash investigation, he said.
