The killer of a 32-year-old woman found dead in a Reseda apartment remained at large Monday, and police put out a call for public help to find the suspect.
West Valley area officers responded to the apartment in the 18400 block of Kittridge Avenue, near Reseda Boulevard, about 8:25 a.m. Sunday and found Jonisha Mendoza, of Reseda, unresponsive and suffering from a gunshot wound, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mendoza did not live in the apartment, and authorities urged anyone with information about the shooting to call Valley Bureau Homicide Detective M. O’Donnell at 818-374-9550, or during non-business hours, 1-877-LAPD-24-7. Those wishing to report anonymously can call 800-222-TIPS.
