One person was wounded Saturday evening in the unincorporated Lennox area of Los Angeles County where deputies were involved in a shooting.
The deputies were responding to a call regarding an assault with a deadly weapon about 6:50 p.m. at 104th Street and Burin Avenue, said Deputy Eric Ortiz of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
One person was wounded at the scene, but Ortiz said it was not certain whether that person was the victim from the assault call or the suspect.
The person’s condition was not available, he said. Paramedics were called to the scene.
