A driver’s license and sobriety checkpoint in Eastvale nabbed one suspected drunk driver, sheriff’s officials said Saturday.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department conducted the checkpoint between 8 p.m. Friday and 2 a.m. Saturday in the 12000 Block of Limonite Avenue.

Of the 623 drivers screened, one person were arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and 15 people were either cited for driving unlicensed or with a suspended license.

The checkpoint was funded by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
