A 32-year-old man was shot to death in Norwalk and the suspect was on the loose Saturday.
Deputies responded at 6:45 p.m. Friday to a call of a gunshot victim in the 10900 block of Rosecrans Avenue, near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway, where they found a man seated in his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene, was later identified as Raul Cervantes Corona, 32, of Norwalk, according to the Los Angeles County coroner’s office.
A description of the shooter was not available.
Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau detectives urged anyone with information regarding the shooting to call them at 323-890-5500.
