An arson investigation was launched Tuesday morning after firefighters extinguished a blaze in two units of a one-story commercial building in Pacoima.
Crews responded at 3:36 a.m. to 10215 San Fernando Road, near Kamloops Street, and found fire coming from one side of the approximately 50-feet-by-25-feet building containing at least four units, according to Margaret Stewart of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
A total of 34 firefighters battled the flames and a knock down was called at 4:02 a.m., she said.
“The incident commander requested LAFD Arson Section for the investigation,” Stewart said.
No injuries were immediately reported.
