Police asked for the public’s help Wednesday to find a missing 21-year-old man last seen in Castaic who left behind his wallet and cellphone.

Dane Bryan Elkins was last seen about 8:20 p.m. Sunday near the Golden State (5) Freeway and Templin Highway, in a rural area near Castaic, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“He hasn’t been seen since and his family is concerned,” police said in a news release.

Elkins is described as 5 feet, 11 inches tall and 170 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. His car was left behind with his wallet and cellphone inside, police said.

Anyone with information on Elkins’ whereabouts can call the Los Angeles Police Department’s Missing Persons Unit at 213-996-1800 or report a tip anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
