An alleged DUI driver was injured during a head-on crash in Fullerton, authorities said Thursday.
The crash was reported at 10:09 p.m. at Gilbert Street and Hughes Drive, said Fullerton police Lt. Mike Hines.
The alleged DUI driver, a man about 25 years old, was taken by paramedics to UCI Medical Center in Orange for treatment, Hines said.
Because no one in the other vehicle was hurt, the injured driver was cited for misdemeanor DUI, Hines said.
