A construction worker suffered a workplace injury Thursday morning in Blythe and was immediately airlifted to an area hospital for treatment.
A stack of rebar tumbled on the worker at a job site in the area of Mesa Drive and Blythe Way about 7:30 a.m., according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Officials said the victim suffered moderate injuries and was receiving treatment at an area hospital.
