Authorities Tuesday identified a 25-year-old man who was found fatally shot in a vehicle that crashed into a home in Willowbrook.

Deputies responded about 4 p.m. Monday to a call of a traffic crash with a possible assault with a deadly weapon in the 13500 block of San Pedro Street, near East 135th Street, and found the driver still seated in the vehicle suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The man, who was identified by the coroner’s office Tuesday as Hasani Smith, died at the scene, Koerner said.

A detailed description of the shooter and possible motive for the shooting were not disclosed.
