A Los Angeles man pleaded not guilty Friday to killing an Indiana man during a robbery in the parking lot of a Target store in Baldwin Hills.
Allen Robinson, 27, allegedly shot Jabree Magee, 30, of Gary, Indiana, about 3:15 p.m. Dec. 16, during a robbery in the parking lot of the Target at 3535 S. La Cienega Blvd., near Obama Boulevard, according to Los Angeles police.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he died of a gunshot wound to the chest.
Robinson was arrested in Moreno Valley on Dec. 29 by the FBI/LAPD Fugitive Task Force Team, while police served a search warrant at his home, police said. He was charged two days later with one count each of murder and second-degree robbery.
