A parolee accused of possessing a loaded gun remained jailed Saturday without bail.
Roderick Robinson, 34, of Corona was stopped by police at 3:30 a.m. Thursday while driving near Banbury Drive and Diana Avenue, according to the Riverside City Police Department.
After discovering that Robinson was on parole, officers searched his vehicle and allegedly found a loaded handgun hidden inside the car, along with illegal drugs, police said.
Robinson was arrested on suspicion of various drug and firearm crimes and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center.
