Authorities Thursday identified a man who was fatally shot in the parking lot of a strip mall in the unincorporated South San Gabriel area, as their investigation continued.
Deputies responded about 7:30 p.m. Monday to a call of a gunshot victim in the 8100 block of Arroyo Drive, according to Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Ramon Gomez, 36, of Montebello, died at scene, the coroner’s office reported. A description of the shooter was not available.
