One person was thrown from a vehicle and killed in a single-vehicle rollover crash Saturday morning in the unincorporated Homeland area near Perris.
The crash was reported at 2 a.m. in the 32000 block of state Route 74, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver was the only one in the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
An investigation was underway to determine what led up to the crash.
The age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
