A body was found Wednesday in a large trash container that was on fire in North Hollywood.
Crews were called about 6 p.m. to 7400 Coldwater Canyon Ave., between Raymer and Saticoy streets, where a trash container about 15-feet by 8-feet was on fire, according to Margaret Stewart with the Los Angeles Fire Department.
“Upon extinguishing the flames, firefighters located a deceased body inside the container,” she said.
The department’s arson unit will investigate the death with the Los Angeles Police Department, she said.
