One person was killed Tuesday morning in a single vehicle roll-over crash on westbound Interstate 10 in the unincorporated Whitewater area near Palm Springs.
The crash occurred about 12:30 a.m. just west of Highway 62, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Firefighters responded and confirmed one person had died, the Riverside County Fire Department said.
Details of what led up to the crash and the age, gender and name of the victim were not disclosed.
